How garish is that top one! That was me just messing about, but I tried a bit harder with this one below and rather like the result. I'd be happy to have this one draped over my bed or sofa anyday.
But alas its not real - its a digital quilt. What fun I've been having (maybe I should get out more!) designing my own quilts digitally. Its really simple and quick (and free) and its useful for me personally in planning designs for my quilt bowls .... but I did get a bit addicted.
If you want to do your own, go here and do it. (Link doesn't work - you'll have to do it manually - sorry).

You can then add it to their gallery or email it to yourself and a friend.
I also go carried away designing my own textile fabric, but lucky for you, the image would not load onto blogger for some reason.
If you want to try that, go here and do it:

Now .... I must get on and do some actual work!
oooh what fun. off for a play xxx
ReplyDeleteDo you know I quite like that top one, I must like the garish. Both are gorgeous. I have always wanted to make my own real quilt, but I really don't think I have the patience.
ReplyDeleteOrdinary cook: me too and me neither! Cathy.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun idea. I love yours, I think I may just have to try it out!
