Well, call me weird, but a week's sunny beach holiday in Spain has never been in my top ten things to do before I die. I prefer to get out and about, do and see different things. I was never one for lazing about really.
(It happened in a pub, and before you ask, I had only had one orange juice - honest!!)
It was hell, really!
And I am even more lucky that I sprained my ankle during flip-flop weather, since the foot swelled up so much that I could not get any other shoes on to it!
If it had been Winter, it would have meant a big comfy slipper and a sock - not a great outdoors look!
Gonna catch up with all your news now.
Bye for now.

ReplyDeleteYou see? Drinking juices is dangerous - especially in pubs :)

Get well soon!

Sorry to hear about your ankle, but enforced leisure is sometimes no bad thing, especially in paradise!
Am loving what I've seen of your pottery, am so excited to have found your blog - so glad you left a comment on mine.

Hello Catherine,
ReplyDeleteThanks for popping by and leaving me a comment. I have been enjoying having a look around your blog, your pottery is just brilliant, I can see why the buttons would be snapped up so quickly, they are fab.
I like to keep busy on hols too but sometimes fate just takes a hand doesn't it? And well who wouldn't enjoy being waited on in such an idyllic place. Hope the ankle is on the mend.
I'm sorry to hear about your ankle, but what a fab place to recuperate - it looks stunning :0)

ooh that turquoise sea! Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteCatherine, i can understand totally, i wouldn't choose that sort of hol either, but when u have to do it, you might as well do it in style, its good to hear that some good came out of you "happy accident" sometimes a forced rest its the best thing. Hope your ankel is healed fully now. It looks beautiful where you were staying.
