When Al at All-tea-towels.co.uk asked me to review their product, I very nearly replied that they had the wrong person, as my relationship with the humble tea-towel is somewhat limited. I am shopper, cooker, cleaner and just about everything else, but I am not chief Washer-Upper in this household. So who is?
(No - not the children! - don't be silly!).
Why, it's Mr PotterJotter, of course!
Which is why, what with Valentine's Day fast approaching, I chose this lovely hearts design from Al's vast array of gorgeous designer linen and cotton tea-towels. It will send just the right message to Mr PJ on 14th February, namely : "make sure you keep on top of the washing up, darling!"
There is also a subliminal lovey-dovey message suggested by the red-hearts, of course, and since this design comes in a pack of two, that's double the lovey-doveyness! Sorted! What's not to like?
I then chose this one above for myself. You can see why. No - not because I am a Calamity Jane! but because it displays the kind of motifs and patterns that I like to incorporate into the designs on my pottery.
So .... if you're stuck for the right gift for that special man in your life - or even for yourself - pop over to Al's site and take a look.

They do look like fun!
ReplyDeleteHa ha - I did the self same thing with my tea towels from them - we are all heart aren't we! And yes you are a barmy parent! xxxxxx
ReplyDeleteI love tea towels... I only realised how much when I found myself thinking about buying them as gifts for friends and that I love receiving them so surely they would. I don't buy them for friends but a supply of lovely clean tea towels makes drying up so much more bearable. Have you seen the company To Dry for?
ReplyDeleteNice towels!! They make great gifts and they add a splash of color to the kitchen. I had to laugh at what you said about the message of the heart quilt. Thanks for a good laugh today :-)
ReplyDeleteI think the Calamity Jane one is rather funny and can see why you like it so much looking at your opening image.
DeleteThank you for commenting on my blog last night.. I really though you must be in USA but no you are in Norfolk just as I am and may even be a Capricorn! Looking forward to seeing what you do for the surface pattern course x Gabs
They are both lovely- but I do have a bit of a thing for red and white,so that one is my favourite.
ReplyDeleteHappy to have found your lovely blog...
Warm Wishes,
Callie
Those tea towels are lovely. Why is it that even though I've got a couple of pairs of oven gloves, my hubby still insists on using tea towels to take things out of the oven, staining them in the process? I should really buy myself some top notch tea towels and keep them out of hubby's way.
ReplyDeleteHi. Saw one of your pottery hearts whilst visiting Marmalade Rose the other day. Lovely!!
